But when one turns to the Lord, the veil is removed. Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.
2 Corinthians 3:16-17
Take five months of your life to seek hard after God.
Take five months of your life to experience and get to know God more, seeking after him to learn his character and his ways. Through lectures, creative activities, community life, practical ministry, and outreach, learn what it means to live as a disciple. The world is hungry for God’s truth and transformation – come learn how to feed them.
This Performing Arts DTS (PA DTS) has the focus on deepening your relationship with God, and using your creativity and passions for His glory and to make him known. We will follow the heartbeat of the DTS curriculum while exploring and using our passions to reach out to others through the Arts. This DTS consists of superb lectures from international speakers and opportunities for application. Students will focus on deepening their intimacy with God both in and outside of the classroom.

God loves the arts and is inviting us to bring joy, celebration, beauty, hope, and perspective to a broken world. He calls us to co-create with him, to share the Gospel across language and cultural barriers. We aim to reach below the surface, to discover open doors to connect and inspire. Let's use the power of the arts for His purposes!

But wait, there’s more!
After completing your 3-month lecture phase, you get to bring His hope to individuals and communities. This outreach phase can take many forms. The desire is to use performing arts to reach out alongside more classical ministry activities. No matter the country you go to for outreach, you will continue in your journey to know God and make Him known wherever you go.
Where will we go
Where will we go?
Your staff and base leadership spend time seeking God’s direction for where the outreach teams should go, but the locations for the PA DTS are not decided until after the students have arrived in Switzerland. We want to get to know students and see which outreach locations are a good match for their talents, personalities, and passions.
After the outreach locations are announced, students have time to pray about the options and seek wise counsel from parents before submitting their choice to the staff. The whole process is covered in prayer as we seek God’s will in this area.
YWAM Lausanne regularly sends teams to countries in South America, the Middle East, Asia, Africa, and Europe. These teams engage with the nations through prayer, community development projects, evangelism, visiting orphanages, preaching in churches, and seeking to bless the people in ways led by God.
