YWAM Lausanne has a heart for seeing people of nations know God intimately and be transformed. We do this through sharing the gospel and being the hands and feet of Christ to people in practical ways.
Join us in a ministry workshop that empowers and equips refugees with an understanding of Biblical worldview and community development initiatives. The workshop takes place in a community development center that operates year round in partnership with YWAM Lausanne and local refugees.
Alongside this main focus, we will also engage in conversation with those of other faiths. Additionally, volunteers will be able to extend joy and encouragement to the churches in North Africa.
Consider partnering with us this summer in North Africa.
Do you desire to see truth found in the Bible transform a community in practical ways? During the workshop, we seek to not only bring an understanding of God’s Word but also help the refugees apply it to their lives and circumstances. If you enjoy teaching the Bible and affecting change through sustainable projects, consider teaching at the workshop this summer.
A key part of the workshop is equipping the refugees with vocational skills they can use to better their lives. In the past we have run classes in computer skills, business development, sewing, English, cosmetology, electricity, and carpentry. Let us know if you have an area of expertise that you could train others in during a vocational class for the workshop.
Serve alongside friends who have also done a Discipleship Training School. Every year, we have people return and join us in North Africa who completed their DTS years ago. Enjoy the fellowship this community brings. Anyone who has completed a DTS (in Lausanne or elsewhere) or who has previous missions training is welcome to apply to join the North Africa outreach.
Volunteers can join us! If you have questions or want more information, please send us an email.
