SCHOOLS & TRAINING
DBS: Innovation & Transformation

YWAM Lausanne as a ministry has a deep connection to Bible teaching. As a community, we cherish and foster a deep love for the word of God. In conjunction with this, we are deeply passionate about innovation in education. These two aspects overlap with our Discipleship Bible School (DBS).
When we ran this course for the very first time in 2020, we couldn't have anticipated the overwhelmingly positive response and transformation we saw in the students. Since then we have had the privilege to run many more of these incredible schools, which spark amazing hunger for the word of God in the lives of young people. DBS is designed specifically to be a sequel to DTS and presents a very personal application-focused method of Bible study. In just 3 months, students read through every book of the Bible together in small groups while also hearing from speakers about the history, context, and background of the scriptures.

DBS creates an approachable way for anyone to encounter and be transformed by the living word of God. This program has quickly become one of the key programs we run many times throughout the year. Our campus also became the first location in the world to offer this course in bilingual English & Korean. We are excited to continue to offer this incredible course and see the lives of many many more students impacted through its innovative approach to studying the Bible.
OUTREACH
DTS Togo Team Completes Fruitful Outreach

Our Togo DTS outreach team has wrapped up a very fruitful outreach. While in lecture phase, they pressed in and prayed over Togo. They received the words "Hope," "Restoration," and "Life." These words have become a wonderful focus for the outreach. The team has been working with a local YWAM base in Noepe. They have engaged in door-to-door, children, and church ministries; all of which have been very fruitful. They have seen a number of locals come to know the Lord, encouraged the local church, and been able to practically bless people who are struggling with food bags. We are so thankful for this amazing team and the heart they have found for the nation of Togo. They have also built good relationships with the staff at the base over the holidays and have been able to support and strengthen the base. Teaching English, helping on the base's farm, painting, and assisting with other practical ministries are just a few of the many ways they have been able to aid the amazing work of YWAM Noepe.

Testimony from Team Togo
"Our time on outreach so far has been filled with many testimonies of God’s work in Togo, but I think one aspect that has really stood out to me throughout our ministry is the powerful and protective hand of God over our team. Despite the challenges we have faced and the attempts of the enemy, God has continually been revealing to me, as well as the rest of our team, that He truly is Lord over everything in Heaven and on Earth. So as we have continued to fix our eyes on Him and seek His face for this outreach, I have seen that He will not only protect us, but also do great things through our team. Psalm 33:20-22"

FORGING THE FUTURE
A Whole Year of Outreaches

A huge priority for our ministry is outreach. We send out numerous outreach teams every year from our schools and courses. Alongside this, we also have had a number of other outreach initiatives such as Regeneration and North Africa Outreach. Moving into 2022, we are excited to announce a big expansion along this front. This also includes an open invitation and a number of opportunities for you to get involved!
NAO & R3
North Africa Outreaches

First, we are doing not one, not two, but three North Africa Outreaches this year! These month-long outreaches take place around our community development center in North Africa. Participants get involved in a number of amazing ministries such as teaching workshops and basic skills to refugees and displaced people, sharing and encouraging existing Christian communities, reaching out and building relationships with locals, and aiding our long-term team. There is the opportunity to come for either the first two weeks, the second two weeks, or join for the entire month. The outreaches will take place over the months of April, August, and October. We invite you to consider joining us for these exciting opportunities. More information can be found here.
REGEN
Regeneration Returns for 2022

Another exciting opportunity we have coming up this summer is Regeneration, a two-week outreach at the famous Montreux Music Festival. For the last 2 years, this outreach was put on hold because of the pandemic, but we are overjoyed to bring it roaring back! Regeneration is all about reaching people through arts and relationships. Christian artists and performers from around the world join us to share the gospel in a wide array of creative and inspiring ways. We have many different expressions of hospitality, conversational, and creative evangelism for you to jump into! People from across the globe congregate in Montreux for the music festival giving us an amazing context to evangelize, encourage, and minister to the attendees. This outreach is all open to our alumni and friends of our ministry. We would love to have you join us for this amazing, truly one-of-a-kind outreach from July 3rd thru 16th.
