YWAM Lausanne takes to the city to celebrate the good news! Luke 24:6-7 says, “He is not here; he has risen! Remember how he told you, while he was still with you in Galilee: ‘The Son of Man must be delivered over to the hands of sinners, be crucified and on the third day be raised again.’” We look to Christ and celebrate His resurrection. Easter marks Christ’s triumph over death and, as the Apostle Peter writes, our “new birth into a living hope.” It’s a time to reflect on salvation, redemption, and the future coming of Christ’s kingdom.
This is also a time we like to tell people in the city of the best story they could ever hear. Our community celebrated by worship in the square, arts and crafts, bible distribution, a place for kids to come and play, and a prayer corner for people who wanted prayer or to give their life to God. We had a team there to talk about Jesus and all that He did for us. It’s such a joy and privilege within our community to be able to be in His love that we may be able to show that same love to the city.
