CDS Prepares to Bring Beauty, Order, & Abundance

As believers, we are called to disciple nations. But what does that look like in practical terms? On a basic level, nations are large collections of smaller communities. The mission of CDS is to bring lasting transformation to these communities and help them flourish. Flourishing can look vastly different depending on the context of the community in question however there are many universal principles that apply to all. Using the Biblical example of Jesus in Luke 2:52, the school trains students to bring beauty, order, and abundance in whatever ministry context they are called to. Aligning communities with the way God intended them to function is the focal point of CDS.

With a heavy emphasis on practical application, this course has a profound impact on the future fruitfulness of the students' long-term ministries. The transformative effects of this are already becoming evident in the students. Over the course of the school, they have been discovering their purpose and how to apply Biblical transformation in the areas of ministry they are passionate about and called to. There is no doubt that this incredible program has set these students on a course to make an eternal impact. No matter the specific context of ministry, there is always room to apply the powerful teachings of this course. A number of the students are preparing to do an outreach in Mexico with a justice-related ministry this summer. We look forward to sharing the results of this with all of you in the coming months.
OUTREACH
Kingdom Come in Riponne

We have something new to reach out to our city! We call this new initiative 'Kingdom Come' or 'Que Ton Règne Vienne' in French. Once a month, we're taking one of our weekly community gatherings into the city and opening it up to anyone who wants to join. This month, we hosted it in Place Rippone, an open-air square in Lausanne! Teams of students went out a few hours before the event to invite local bypassers to come and enjoy the music, testimonies, activities, and even food we had prepared for the evening. The response we received was overwhelming. People were prayed for, Bibles were handed out, and many even joined us to sing and dance right there in the middle of the square! We can't wait to see what God has in store for the upcoming Kingdom Come gatherings!

ReClaimed Testimony
This month, we have the next installment of our ReClaimed mini-series of testimonies. We are so thankful for the warm reception the first episode received and hope these subsequent episodes continue to be an encouragement. Please enjoy!

FORGING THE FUTURE
New Brand Course Coming Soon

We are so excited to announce the return of a full communications school to our campus at the beginning of 2023. This completely new course is focused on equipping the next generation of communicators. Using the create and communicate seminars as a testing ground, we have been developing towards this for some time. The full 3-month course will meet core curriculum requirements for U of N degree students as well as serve as a launch pad for those who are interested in communications to rapidly expand their skills. All of this learning will be embedded deeply in the biblical foundations for creating and communicating.
