Build towards a degree!
This cohort program includes three foundational Core Curriculum courses that provide the backbone of each UofN degree:
- Introduction to Communication and Design (iCD)
- Engaging with God’s World (EGW)
- Bible Core Course (BCC)
Building strong foundations requires hard work and the right tools for the job. Do you have a passion for the nations, but want more training in order to bring true transformation to others’ lives?
If you’ve already completed a DTS, why don’t you consider joining YWAM Lausanne for nine months to learn more about how you can deepen your faith and expand your skills in a unique way. During this time you’ll travel along as a student cohort; you will experience the blessings and joys of sharing life together as a small group of passionate Christians who desire to build strong foundations that support future ministry of every kind.
One course. Three schools. Nine months. Unlimited potential.
Get prepared to also travel to distant lands in addition to the formal classroom setting, studying Scripture in the places where it originally happened. This cohort program includes three foundational Core Curriculum courses that provide the backbone of each UofN degree: Introduction to Communication and Design (iCD), Engaging with God’s World (EGW), and the Bible Core Course (BCC).
Whether you plan to continue your education, step out into the marketplace, or head to the mission field, the concepts and skills you’ll take away from these courses will remain relevant and life-giving as you discover the path God has prepared for you.
Through iCD you’ll learn:
- to apply communication skills in a changing world full of visual stimuli.
- to express yourself creatively through print, web, and video.
- to understand God’s heart and convey it to others.
Through EGW you’ll learn:
- to discover your own Christian worldview in light of historic and current events.
- to wrestle with the hard questions and learn how to defend your faith.
- applied Christian thinking in a safe environment.
Through BCC you’ll learn:
- to experience the Bible firsthand through extensive travel in the Holy Lands.
- to read the Bible in light of historical context and cultural understanding.
- to capture a greater glimpse of God’s character and nature through studying his Word.
Even better, you can take advantage of the beautiful surroundings as you study within view of the Alps. Enjoy each season: autumn hikes with crisp leaves, winter skiing, fresh spring flowers. And if you are considering a degree through the UofN, you could be well on your way to an Associate’s degree with an additional 36 credits by the end of the course.
Prepare your heart and mind for life; prepare your soul and spirit for ministry. The door is wide open for those who choose to walk through it!
