Discover and strengthen your leadership qualities through apprentice-style learning at YWAM Lausanne. Have you always naturally risen to take responsibility on projects or in groups? Do you have a vision to start new initiatives or improve existing programs? Has God gifted you in areas of discipleship, organization, administration, pioneering, or shepherding others? Depending on your interests and ministry calling, one of the following schools may be the right next step for you:
Leadership Training School
Set three months aside to focus on building the leadership skills you’ve already begun to develop in ministry. The LTS is a project-based course that welcomes those from a variety of backgrounds and experience levels, seeking to mentor those who have a vision to step out even further into the calling God has upon their life.
Basic Leadership School

Learn how to lead by doing! BLS includes a six month commitment to staff a DTS, preparing a month before the start of the school through a variety of staff training exercises. Students will develop skills in leading small groups, decision making, discipleship, and time management, among many others. BLS includes leadership positions in both Lecture and Outreach Phase of the DTS.
Leadership Development
Take a step further by joining the staff of YWAM Lausanne while continuing to develop specific skills in areas of ministry at the base. This course includes styles of both formal and non-formal learning, requiring a minimum one year commitment from participants. This time can be completely tailored to an individual’s gifts and interests, providing maximum benefit to the student according to the amount of initiative taken.
