Because the vision for GENESIS was birthed out of ywam Lausanne, it seems only fitting that its centre remain here. Led by Markus Steffen and staffed by a team of highly committed staff members, the GENESIS centre is able to offer a multitude of training options and facilitate numerous multi-point links around the globe.
Each quarter, the GENESIS centre runs a worship and praise event known as "One Voice". This event allows us to link up with numerous different bases around the world to share a night of worship, fulfilling the vision in Revelation of all nations together proclaiming the name of the Lord.
ywam Lausanne was the first base in which a multi-point discipleship training school (dts) was run. This allowed different dts classes in Lausanne, Latvia, and Brazil to connect together and share teaching.
The GENESIS centre is also able to facilitate global ywam meetings and prayer and intercession links. Each year, GENESIS seminars and schools are run to offer training for those interested in connecting with this global video-conferencing technology. Here at the GENESIS centre, at the very heart of the vision, we are dedicated to seeing the glory of the Lord cover this earth as the waters cover the sea (Habakkuk 2:14).
