DTS students get their first taste of evangelism during local outreach—a weekly outreach during the lecture phase into the city of Lausanne. Through creative means the Gospel is gradually reaching the ears of those who are hungry to receive it. From the streets of Lausanne, to the back alleys of Mexico City, to the desert of North Africa, to the Great Wall of China, the message remains the same. . . . North Africa
Enter a world full of color, life and vivacity. See the amazing doors that are opening as God leads our teams to minister with those who already know about religion, but have yet to experience the love of Jesus.
East Africa
Experience African culture in all its beauty and majesty. Past outreach teams have visited countries such as Tanzania, Burundi, Sudan and Uganda, serving in practical areas of mercy ministry as well as teaching, preaching and leading children’s ministries.
Southeast Asia
Journey to regions of the world where millions have yet to hear about Jesus, where Bibles remain a precious commodity to be treasured and where steadfast Christians persevere despite harsh circumstances. Past teams have shared God’s love through teaching English, working with university students, meeting in homes and friendship evangelism.
Central and South America
While visiting nations including Brazil, Colombia and Mexico, past teams dove into vibrant relationships with both Christians and those yet to discover Christ for themselves in a real way. Many have discovered the depth and breadth of sacrificial hospitality in this part of the world through friendship evangelism and small group meetings in homes.
Europe
Often considered some of the most difficult nations to reach with the truth of the gospel, past teams have spent time in France, Switzerland, Germany, England, Hungary and Ukraine. Often ministry includes street evangelism, work with children, and creative means to reach those involved in specific niches of the arts.
